International Ludo Tournament Rules

  1. Tournament Format
    • The tournament will be played using standard Ludo rules.
    • Participants will compete in a knockout-style tournament.
    • Matches will be played in a best-of-three format.
  2. Gameplay Rules
    • The game will follow the traditional Ludo rules with four players competing against each other.
    • Each player starts with four tokens and must move them around the board to reach the center.
    • Tokens must be moved based on dice rolls.
    • Tokens must complete one full circuit of the board before entering the center.
  3. Time Limits
    • Each player has a maximum of 60 seconds to make a move when it’s their turn.
    • Failure to move within the time limit will result in the loss of the turn.
  4. Disconnections
    • If a player disconnects due to technical issues, the game will be paused for up to 10 minutes to allow reconnection.
    • If reconnection is not possible, the player will forfeit the match.
  5. Cheating and Fair Play
    • Cheating, including external assistance or using game exploits, is strictly prohibited.
    • Any player found cheating will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.
  6. Tiebreakers
    • In case of a tie within a match, the player with the highest total score across all three matches will be declared the winner.
    • If still tied, a tiebreaker match will be played.

International Ludo Tournament Code of Conduct

  1. Sportsmanship
    • Treat all players, organizers, and officials with respect and courtesy.
    • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude throughout the tournament.
  2. Fair Play
    • Play the game with integrity and adhere to the rules at all times.
    • Refrain from exploiting bugs or glitches for personal gain.
  3. Communication
    • Keep all communication, both in-game and in chat, respectful and appropriate.
    • Avoid any form of harassment, hate speech, or offensive language.
  4. Disputes and Rulings
    • Accept the decisions of tournament officials and referees as final.
    • If you have a dispute, address it in a calm and respectful manner.
  5. Attire and Presentation
    • Maintain a professional appearance during any live-streamed or in-person matches.
  6. Privacy
    • Respect the privacy of other participants and refrain from sharing personal information without consent.
  7. Reporting Violations
    • If you witness a violation of the rules or the code of conduct, report it to the tournament officials.
  8. Consequences of Misconduct
    • Violations of the code of conduct may result in warnings, match forfeits, or even disqualification from the tournament.
